I photograph weddings the way a reportage assignment should be photographed, by staying close, staying quiet, and letting the day unfold on its own terms. What I bring from years of editorial work is an eye for composition and light, so the candid moments end up looking as considered as they felt.
Based in Paris for more than a decade, I work with couples marrying in the city and with those arriving from abroad for it, which is most of my calendar. Everything from the first email to the delivered gallery happens comfortably in English or French.

I am Najib, a wedding photographer of more than fifteen years. I work between reportage and editorial photography: images that happen on their own, with enough attention to light and framing to make them elegant without ever making them stiff. What I am after is your day caught naturally and timelessly: memories that hold up, and that you still look at in twenty years.

Can I book you for weddings outside Paris?
Absolutely. What I enjoy most is photographing in different settings, whether that's an intimate ceremony in Paris or somewhere much further afield.
Travel is included for weddings within central Paris. For anywhere else, in France or abroad, travel costs are added to the quote. Tell me about your day and we'll build a plan that fits your budget.
How many photographs will we receive?
There's no fixed limit on the day itself. My aim is to catch every moment as it comes, without counting frames.
Quality matters more than volume, so the final delivery is between 500 and 700 images, each individually edited. The number varies with how long I'm with you and how much happens.
Will our images be edited?
Yes, every delivered image is edited. I grade each photograph carefully, keeping tones consistent so the gallery reflects the different moments and rooms of your day faithfully.
Some choices, like converting to black and white for a stronger contrast, or pushing particular colour tones, are there to hold the whole gallery together as one coherent piece of work.
Will you photograph our wedding alone?
Many of my strongest reportages were shot solo, and working alone is usually the least intrusive way to cover a day.
Depending on your preferences and the size of your wedding, a second photographer can absolutely be added. Two of us allows parallel coverage: both of you getting ready, or the room while I'm with you.
When will we receive our photographs?
You'll see your photographs around five weeks after the wedding.
I send a link to a private online gallery, where you can view, download and share the full-resolution images.
